Im from out of town, stopped in for lunch and it was great...rice pudding was the bomb !!!

The food is fresh and delicious. The cook and the waitress were very nice and go out of their way to please you. The chicken is moist and tender...and the fresh vegetable sides were good as well. All of their deserts are home made and made right there. The outside eating area was clean and nice. I would definitely go back and highly recommend it.

Love this place. Staff are nice and food is good. It's a bit slow sometimes waiting for chicken to cook but overall it's not an issue.

I grew up in NC and have lived and Nashville, and I'm telling you - this is some good fried chicken! The ladies there were so nice and great. Skip the boring chains off the highway and come here. Your tastebuds will thank you.

Charlie's Chicken is excellent. We were in search of some good southern fried chicken and soul food and found Charlie's Chicken. The fried chicken, fish and vegetables(especially the corn pudding) were awesome. The Brown Sugar Pie melts in your mouth. I tried to make it but it didn't turn out like Ms.Charlie's. The staff and owner were very nice and friendly. When we are in Amherst again Charlie's Chicken is our place!!

The food was great! The fried chicken was delicious! If you like fried chicken you need to try Charlie's Chicken.

Good place for meals and meetings

I have only been in the shop once, but I have been to multiple meals that have been catered by Charlie's. AMAZING!!I would suggest them any day!

Best Food in town

First time here had chicken livers a little dry needs a lighter batter. Sides were very good. The service was great!
